  Taylor Co., Ky., Circuit Court, bundle 10, Aug. 24, 1854 Henderson Reeves, ET Al vs. John Reeves, exec.: John Reeves, died 1854 in Taylor County. Adm.: John Reeves. He left a will. He was over 90 years old and his mind was very imbecile and the defendant was capable to using his influence improperly. Depostion of Catherine Reeves, 24 August 1854. Wife of John Reeves: John was 90 add years old when he died. Sometimes my son John could have influence over him. I heard my son, John, try to get the old man to make over his property to him, but the old man refused to do it and said he was afraid to risk him. One time I heard G.W. Towls read a will in mine and the old man's presents. The will is now recorded or which I have understood is recorded is not the one that Towls read to the old man in my hearing. John threatened a heap of times to go to Mo. if unless the old man made the property over to him. Affadavit: Catherine Reeves says she is old and infirm and not able to travel to court.
