Helived on a farm nearHydetown in his early life and was amember of afamily of pioneer residents. his father was John Griffin,who died manyyears ago. "Pat" Griffin had five brothers-- Thomas,John, William,Robert and Miles all residents of Nebraska except forMiles who lives inKansas. The brothers with the exception of Williamare engaged inagricultural pursuits and have been prosperous. Williamis a photographerat Hebron, Nebraska. A sister, Mrs. O'Toole, formerlylived inTitusville. "Pat" Griffin was a sturdy Pennsylvanian, who possessed manyexcellenttraits of character. His wife who survives, was formerly MissLucindaSterling of Hydetown. Many friends of the famliy in CrawfordCounty willbe interested and saddened by the news of his death.
