- New England Historical & Genealogical Register, Volume 65, Year-1911: Zachariah came to America on the ship "Truelove" in September of 1635. This Zachariah was a brother to John Whitman of Weymouth, ancestor of most of the Whitmans of America. He came with wife Sarah Biscoe, who he had married in Chesham, England on 10 June 1630. (Page 67).
Was in Milford, Connecticut as early as 1639.
