- Leonard Hullett Hunt, 69, of the Gilboa Community, died of a heartattackat his home Route 2, Finley, Sunday, Dec. 11, 1966 at 10:00 a.m. Funeralservices were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 2:00 p.m., at theMt. GilboaBaptist Church by Rev. James Kenneth Adams and Rev. OtisSkaggs withburial in Mt. Gilboa Cemetery. The Lyon Funeral Home wasin charge ofarrangements. Mr. Hunt, a retired farmer, was born inTaylor County,March 30, 1897 son of the late Emma Caulk and J.C. Hunt. He was a memberof the Mount Gilboa Baptist Church. Forty-two yearsago he was marriedto Roberta D. Hunt who survives. Besides his wife,he is survived by thefollowing children: Mrs. Wesley Parrott, ShelbyHunt, Mrs. RaymondCotton, and Miss Phyllis Hunt, all ofCampbellsville; Coleman and TerryHunt, at home, Rt. 2, Finley; CarlHunt, Rt. 2; Mrs. Nathan Funk,Louisville; and Buel Hunt, USAFWitchita, Kansas. Also surviving onebrother, John J. Hunt, Raywick;one sister, Mrs. Josie Hunt, Ca! mpbellsville; two half-brothers, Sheridan Hunt, Rt. 2, Finley andRubinHunt, Raywick; two half-sisters, Mrs. Edgar Gentle, Indianapolis,andMrs. Bertha Graham, Coles City, Ind. Two brothers and twosistersprecede him in death, Freeman, Robert, Ethel, and EffieHunt.Pallbearers were Preston, Clayton, Walter and Gene Hunt,CharlieSullivan, and Edgar Russell. ~The News-Journal, Thursday,December 15,1966
