- Taylor County, March 4, 1905. He died suddenly at 6:15 p.m.,Sunday,March 13, 1977, at his home. He united in marriage to MissAnnie Skaggs,February 3, 1927. To this union ten children were born. Two children preceded their father in death in infancy. Besides his wife, Mrs. Annie Skaggs Lee, six daughters and twosonssurvive: Mr. William Lee of Campbellsville, Route 5, Mrs. Thelma Skaggs,Mrs.Helen Warren, Mrs. Essie Skaggs, Miss Mary Lee, Mrs. Larry R.DeWitt, and Mr. Tony Lee, all of Buffalo, Route 1, and Mrs. Edith Johnson ofLondon,Kentucky. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; fivegreat-grandchildren;one sister and five brothers: Mr. Jack Lee of Campbellsville, Mrs. Florence Vance of Buffalo, Route1,Mr. James Lee of Route 1, Hodgenville, Mr. Robert Lee ofIndianapolis,Indiana, Mr. Earl Lee of Palmyria, Indiana, and Mr. Bil! l Lee of BumpusMill,Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, atCorinthBaptist Church in Larue County by Rev. S. C. Johnson and Rev.GarlenSkaggs. Burial was in Corinth Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Lee, WilliamLeeJr., David Kenner, Junior Vance, Warren Lee, and Boug Burks.
