Notes |
- I might have a link here for you to consider. You have a listed name of Vinc Dusek on the ancestry.com site. Well, this is what I have found...
DUSEK born 1500 in Dobrouc, Slovakia. It's a small town located inthecentral part of the country. He also died there in 1530. Taking a direct line of ancestry down to your Vinc Dusek is asfollowsaccording to my information. DUSEK (the org. name Slovakian in orgin) George Dusek Martin Dusek Jan, Sr. Dusek Andres Dusek Jan Dusek Tobias Dusek Martin Dusek Karel Dusek Vincenc Dusek All of this has been passed down through our family...the Meyer's.Mygreat-grandmother was a Schroeder who married a Meyer.Hergreat-grandfather married Anna Dusek. My father (Colson) marriedmymother who was a Meyer. I myself am an 18th generation Duek byblood. Anhyhow, my grandmother has the a large folder with most, if not allof, the Dusek family heritage. They don't have any records beyond 1500 so it's anyone's guess rightnow. All we know for your is that most of the Dusek family lived anddied inand around present-day Slovakia. Dobrouc and Cermna are notedseveraltimes as birth and death places for many. I hope this helps some in your search. Sincerely, William Colson TorchRunner@worldnet.att.ne
