Dr. Roscoe Boley Bigler, age 89, of Scottsdale, passed awaySaturday,November 27, 2004, at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona. He wasbornNovember 26, 1915, in Vernon, California, a son of Erin D. andEmma Jane"Jennie" Boley Bigler. He married LaVerne Whitehead on June10, 1942 inthe Salt Lake Temple. Huntington Park, California was Dr.Bigler's homefor 75 years, after which he moved to St. George, Utah,where he livedfor 11 years, then to Scottsdale, Arizona, where hascalled home for thepast 3 years. Surviving family include his:children, Gean, Jeanette,Robert, Nancy, Donald, Susan, and Roscoe; andbrothers, Gean and John. Hewas preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne.Funeral services will be heldSaturday, December 4, 2004, at 10:00 a.m.at the Creekside Ward Chapel,20801 Marcon Dr., Walnut, CA. Visitationswill be held Wednesday,December 1, 2004, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. atMessinger Indian SchoolMortuary, 7601 East Indian School Rd.,Scottsdale, AZ, Friday, December3, 2004 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., andagain Saturday, December 4, 2004,from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m., prior toservices, both at the Creekside WardChapel. A graveside dedicationwill be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at theRose Hills Memorial Park,3888 S. Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA, Gate#16, Nauvoo Lawn Section,Lot 236.
