  Miss Eva Bell Underwood, 72, died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, November 23,1975in the Taylor County Hospital.  She was a native of Taylor CountybornJune 28, 1903, the daughter of the late Wilson and RosaShofnerUnderwood.  She was a resident of the Mt. Carmel Community allof herlife and had been confined to the Medco Center for the past twoyears.Miss Underwood is survived by one brother: Lonzo UnderwoodofIndianapolis, Ind.; one sister: Mrs. Mayme Pittman of Louisville;severalnieces and nephews.  Funeral services were held from the LyonFuneralHome Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday, November 24, with the Rev.Garland Skaggsofficiating.  Interment followed in the UnderwoodCemetery.  Pallbearerswere J.D. Underwood, Leon Underwood, CharlieSkaggs, Willie Davis,Garnett Davis, and Otis Shofner.
