TheRevs.Lyle Asbill and David Henry were to officiate. Burial was tofollow atBoyd Cemetery. Waldrip died Sunday, April 10, 2005, in Sulphur, La. Born April 10, 1921, in Alvord, he was a retired aircraftmaintenanceworker for American Airlines and served in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil; a son, Charles; andabrother, Ernest. He is survived by two sons, Raymond Waldrip and wife, Anita, andJ.T.Thompson and wife, Joyce, all of Boyd; two daughters, ShirleySmith ofArgyle and Helen LaDoux and husband, Danny, of Sulphur; twobrothers,Albert Waldrip of Fort Worth and Willie Waldrip and wife,Honoria, ofIrving; two sisters, Vessie Adams of Boyd and Velma Hammondand husband,Floyd, of Odessa; and 10 grandchildren and 14great-grandchildren.
