- Ruby Lea (Watts) Jordan
Ruby Lea Jordan, 85, of Georgetown passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003inGeorgetown.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Capital Parks CemeteryinPflugerville with Bishop Ron Moon officiating.
She was born Feb. 10, 1917 in Corsicana to Charles Franklin andDelia(Hanson) Watts. She married Charlie William Jordan Aug. 4, 1934inCorsicana. She was employed at Piggly Wiggly and H-E-B storesinGeorgetown. She was a member of the Church of the Latter-day SaintsinGeorgetown.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 22, 1992; parents;twinsister, Della Vea Watts Howell; and brothers, Clarence Watts andLarryWatts.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Louise andCliffBirchfield of Austin and Charlene and Billy Freeman ofGeorgetown; sonand daughter-in-law, Calvin and Sylvia Jordan ofAustin; grandsons,Charles Pugh and wife Lynn of Cumming, Ga., andDarrell and Lisa Freemanof Georgetown; granddaughters, Victoria Jordanand Sara Jordan, both ofFlorence; great-granddaughter, Jessica Pugh ofCumming, Ga.;great-grandsons, Jeffrey Pugh of Cumming, Ga., JamesDenson and JonFreeman, both of Georgetown, and Alexx Bond of Florence;sisters, LoreneTabler and husband Billy of Corsicana and Dorothy Hurstof Lufkin;nieces, Della Fay, Leslie, Shelly and Wanda; and numerousother niecesand nephews.
