Rose M. Kroschel Rose M. Kroschel, 87, Salida, died Sept. 25, 2004, at ColumbineManorNursing Home in Salida. Mrs. Kroschel was born April 3, 1917, in Ellis, Kan., to John JacobWeberWeaver and Katherine Rosalia (Rumbach) Weaver Mrs. Kroschel enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, cooking, spendingtimewith her family and attending church at the Sacred Heart CatholicChurchin Alamosa. Everyone knew her by her smile and beautiful blueeyes. Shewas loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Curtis (Rosey) Kroschel, RockyMountainHouse, Alberta, Canada; Kenneth Kroschel, Longmont; Raymond(Ileen)Kroschel, Del Norte; Dale Kroschel, La Junta and TimmyKroschel, Alamosa;daughters, Rella (Andy) Jones, Salida and Judy(Patrick) McCabe ofSoldotna, Alaska. Other survivors are stepsons, Norman (Wilma) Kroschel, Delta;Delbert(Connie) Kroschel, Montrose; brothers Rudolph (Wanda) Weaver,Olathe;Jack (Jessie) Weaver, Gunnison and sister, Frances Winger,Orange County,Calif.; favorite relative, Elsie Kro-schel, Minnesota;24 grandchildrenand 14 great grandchildren. Viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. Oct. 2, 2004, at Holy Name of MaryChurchin Del Norte. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Interment willfollow at DelNorte Cemetery.
