Mary Louise (Mary Lou) Huss, 83, of Tiffin, died on Saturday, Oct.29,2005 at Heartland of Waterville Skilled Care Center. She was born on Jan. 13, 1922 in Liberty Township, Seneca Co., toHermanand Louise (Smith) Scherger. She married Victor D. Huss on May 1, 1946 in St. Joseph CatholicChurchin Tiffin. Those who survive her include her husband, Victor Huss; three sons,John(Annette) Huss of New Riegel, Daniel (Maureen) Huss of Dublin andJames(Susan) Huss of Columbus; five daughters, Angela (David) KoonsofFostoria, Patricia (Russell) Randolph of Cincinnati, Teresa (James)Celekof Fremont, Marilyn (Raymond) Stump of Kansas and Beatrice (Dr.Michael)Hodovanic of Cincinnati; 24 grandchildren; fourgreat-grandchildren; onebrother, Rev. Herman Scherger of Cloverdale;two sisters, Zita (Ernest)Hohman of Fostoria and Germaine Perry ofTiffin. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Catherine(Cathy)Margraf on Sept. 14, 2005, an infant daughter, Mary and fourbrothers,Bernard, Carl, Cyril and Gerald Scherger. Mrs. Huss was a 1939 Jackson Liberty High School graduate and hadretiredin 1985 from Bendix Corporation in Fostoria. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin; a formermemberof St. Andrew Catholic Church in Liberty Twp., St. JosephCatholic Churchin Tiffin, and St. Boniface Catholic Church in NewRiegel. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society in both Tiffin andNewRiegel, the New Riegel American Legion Auxiliary; New Riegel Ladiesofthe Moose, Catholic Knights of Ohio Branch 52 in New Riegel, and shewasa past member of the Sweet Adeline''s singing group in Fostoria,Ohio. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m.atTraunero Funeral Home in Tiffin. A Catholic Knights of Ohio service was held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday andaparish wake service was held that evening at 7:45 p.m. at thefuneralhome. The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005atAll Saints Parish in New Riegel with Rev. Ron Schock and Rev.HermanScherger concelebrating. Burial will follow immediately in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery inNewRiegel. Contributions may be made to the Catholic Knights of OhioVocationalFund, 22005 Mastic Rd.
