- Norris A. Dreggors
Norris A. Dreggors, 72, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at his home. Hewasa lifelong resident of Glennville, and a member of PigottBranchMissionary Baptist Church. He was a devoted farmer, and aveteran of theKorean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Minnie Dreggors;hissister, Sue Nell Anderson; and brothers, Doyle Dreggors,LashrellDreggors, and Roth Raw Dreggors. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Elaine Nobles Dreggors;adaughter and son-in-law, Robin Dreggors Waters and Richard Waters,andtheir two sons, Matthew and Madison; a son, Daniel Norris Dreggors,andhis fiancée, Imelda Andrade; his daughter, Brenna Dreggors, andhermother, Leigh Dreggors; Imelda’s children, Felix, Jose, andJenniffer; asister, Samarata Griffin; three brothers: Racile Dreggors(BarbaraKnight), William Dreggors (Novadean Patterson), and LarryDreggors(Jeanette Watson); and a brother-in-law, Elton Anderson. Allsurvivorsare residents of Glennville. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, atPigottBranch Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Young andthe Rev.Oscar Rowe, Jr., officiating. Burial was in the churchcemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Dreggors, Steve Dreggors, John Dreggors,MarkGriffin, Lee McCurdy, Glenn Purcell, Marc Nobles, and EdmundNobles. Remembrances can be made to the Pigott Branch Church Building Fund,c/oMike Reddish, Rt. 2, Box 88A, Ludowici, Georgia 31316. Cobb Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia, was in charge ofthearrangements.
