- Birdie Beatrice Hallmark
Service for Birdie Beatrice Hallmark, 82, of Killeen, will be held at10a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Killeen with the Revs.RandyWallace and Pat McDonald officiating.
Burial will follow at Killeen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hallmark died Sept. 21, 2005, in Temple.
She was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Bell County to the late Thomas E. andEllaWilson.
She was raised and educated in Bell County.
Mrs. Hallmark graduated from Killeen High School class of 1941.
Mrs. Hallmark is co-owner and operator of Hallmark Service Companysince1955.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Killeen.
She was a member of Heart of Texas ABWA for 40 years with 39 yearsofperfect attendance.
Mrs. Hallmark was Heart of Texas ABWA Woman of the Year 1985.
She shared the award of Heart of Texas ABWA Business Associate oftheyear 1990 with her husband and business partner. This was the firsttimefor "Co" business association.
Mrs. Hallmark has spent all of her life in Bell County.
Survivors include her husband, Marion E. Hallmark of Killeen; threesons,Ellis Hallmark of Palmdale, Calif., Don W. Hallmark of Florence,andPhilip R. Hallmark of Killeen; two daughters, Ardis Perkins ofSanger andKim Frederick of Killeen; two brothers, George Wilson ofMena, Ark. andThomas E. Wilson of Harker Heights; 13 grandchildren andfourgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Wilson and AlbertWilson;two sisters, Vera Henrich and Ruby Fleming; and a grandson.
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 p.m. at theCrawford-BowersFuneral Home Chapel in Killeen.
