NEPHI - Earl Eugene Ingram, 85. Passed away Sunday, July 20, 2003 in Nephi, Utah.
He was born December 8, 1917 in Nephi, Utah to Moroni Smith and Mary Louise Mortensen Ingram. He married Zella Chidester, December 10,1940 in the Manti Temple.
He worked for several years in Idaho before coming back to Utah and the family farm. He retired from H.K. Porter in 1979. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. He served a mission with his wife to the West Virginia Charleston Mission and as Ordinance Workers in the Manti Temple for many years. He loved gardening and after his retirement he worked for Nephi City as the caretaker of the Rose Garden.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, children, Ruth Ann (Brant) George of Kanosh; Arlene (Richard) Greenhalgh, Linda Wilson, Larry(Colleen)Ingram, and Charlie Ingram all of Nephi; Ed (Kathy) of Delta;Vickie(Kevin) of Bountiful; 21 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Blaine (Luienna) Ingram and Kenneth(Phyllis) Ingram both of Nephi. Preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Bonnie (Ike) Holm and Manila (Keith) Brock.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2003 in the Nephi 8th Ward, 222 South 100 East. Friends may call Thursday eveningfrom 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 Northand at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, UT.
