Mrs. Carter was born Dec. 2, 1866, at Nephi, a daughter of ThomasandBessie McKay Crawley. She married Mr. Carter on April 3, 1883, intheSalt Lake Endowment House. They lived in Nephi until 1919, whentheymoved with their family to Provo. Mr. Carter died in 1933. She wasanactive member of the Church, serving as a teacher in the ReliefSocietyfor many years.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the ProvoBonnevilleWard Chapel, with Bishop Andrew Jensen officiating. Burialwill be in theNephi Cemetery, under direction of the Deseret Mortuary.
