- Mr. Johnny Ray Waldrop, 55, of Readyville, Tenn., passed away Monday, Nov. 12. Woodfin Memorial Chapel had charge of the arrangements
Mr. Waldrop is survived by his wife, Claudine Pearson Waldrop; three sons, Johnny (Mary) Waldrop of Lebanon, Tenn., Derek Travis of Gadsden and Clint Travis of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Watson of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three brothers, Dennis (Shelly) Waldrop and George (Angie) Waldrop both of Centre, and Donald (Nora) Waldrop of Hokes Bluff.; two sisters, Joan (Danny) Cochran, and Lisa (Mike) Pickle, both of Centre, three grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles

Johnny Ray Bama Waldrop
Johnny Ray "Bama" Waldrop, age 55, of Readyville died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007. A native of Centre, Ala., he was the son of the late George and Juanita Buttram Waldrop.
Survived by wife, Claudine Pearson Waldrop; sons, Johnny (Mary) Waldrop of Lebanon, Derek Travis of Gadsden, AL and Clint Travis of Murfreesboro; daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Watson of Murfreesboro; brothers, Dennis (Shelly) Waldrop and George (Angie) Waldrop, both of Centre, AL and Donald (Nora) Waldrop of Hokes Bluff, AL; sisters, Joan (Danny) Cochran and Lisa (Mike) Pickle, both of Centre, AL; grandchildren, Matthew Watson, Elexus Waldrop and Ryan London; mother-in-law, Zinnie Pearson of Piedmont, AL; sister-in-law, Claudette (Carl) Crane of Piedmont, AL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and his very beloved friends, Tim, Colen and Chelsea Harville, and Luis Jiminez.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brian Harrell officiating.
Mr. Waldrop was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam, and attended Harvest View Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harvest View Baptist Church building fund in memory of Mr. Waldrop. The family would like to thank Dr. Tiffany Hines, Shannon Pope, Lisa Huffman and the staff of Alive Hospice for the love and support for Mr. Waldrop and his family.
