- Beth Naylor
Funeral services for Beth Naylor, 88, of Safford were conductedSaturday,Sept. 4, at the Safford LDS 20th Street Chapel by Bishop LynnSmith ofthe Safford Fifth Ward. Concluding services followed in theThatcherCemtery.
Beth Lenore Naylor was born Aug. 25, 1916, in Thatcher, the daughterofJames and Rebecca Naylor. She grew up, obtaining her educationfromThatcher schools. Following her graduation from Thatcher HighSchool,Beth married Bruce Naylor, on Jan. 28, 1933, in Clifton.
Together Beth and Bruce began to raise their family in Safford.BecauseBruce owned and operated Lindsey Automotive Court and FillingStation andThriftee Market, Beth remained in the home tending to theiryoungchildren.
In 1975, Beth and Bruce were sealed for time and all eternity intheArizona Temple on May 25. In February of 1998, Bruce became illandpassed away.
Beth continued to reside at their residence in Safford until herpassingon Aug. 31, 2004. Beth was a member of the Church of JesusChrist ofLatter-day Saints Safford Fifth Ward. Her love of life andfor her familywill not soon be forgotten.
Beth is survived by her daughter, Becky Maher of Safford; foursons,Brooks of Safford, and Jim, Michael and Dennis of Mesa; hersister, SybilMcEuen of Thatcher; 15 grandchildren, 32great-grandchildren and onegreat-great-grandchild. Beth was precededin death by her husband, Bruce,and her granddaughter, Susan Reynolds.
Arrangements were entrusted to Bunker's Caldwell Chapel.
