  Mexico Independent & Parish Mirror Mexico, New York Thursday Novemeber 5, 1959 WILLIS R. MARTINEZ Willis R. Martinez, 40 of Raymondville, was brought to Willis Cemetery, Fernwood for burial on Friday, October 30th following funeral services at 10 a. m. at St. Raymond's Church in Raymondville. Very Rev. Msgr. John M. Waterhouse officiated. Mr. Martinez passed away Wednesday p. m. after a long illness. He was a World War II Veteran and he had lived in Raymondville 4 years where he had been an oiler and operational engineer on the Seaway. He was born at Chinook, Mont., Feb. .8, 1919, a son of Frederick and Nellie Fulton Martinez. He is survived by his wife Gladys Gardner Martinez, a son Ronald, three daughters Patty, Juanita and Darlene; his mother Mrs. Nellie Hesh, Long Beach, California, a sister, a brother and a half brother, Walter L. Hesh of Syracuse. Mr. Martinez spent considerable time in Mexico where his mother is well known.
