Walter L. Hesh, 76, of Syracuse died Friday, March 16 at VeteransAffairsMedical Affairs Medical Center.
A native of Royal, Iowa, he lived in Syracuse and had a residenceinInlet. He attended Mexico schools. He worked for Overhead Door Co.He wasa Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the submarineservice, and wasactive in several veterans organizations.
His wife, the former Ann LaFrance, died in 1997.
Surviving are a sister, Sylvia Cersinger of California; severalniecesand nephews, including Juanita Damarville of Syracuse, DarleneChappellof Fulton, and Ronald Martinez of Auburn.
