- Jerrold Edmond Brenizer
Jerrold Edmond Brenizer of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully 1/1/05 at the age of 64. Jerry fought a hard battle against emphysemaanddiabetes, but finally found peace and is now with the Lord. He wasborn12/14/40 in Yuba City, Ca. and was raised in Casa Grande, AZ whereheexcelled in sports, playing football and setting numerous recordsintrack as a sprinter and pole vaulter. He went to ASU on atrackscholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.Jerry hada varied and diverse career history, from teacher/coach, toconstructionworker, to business owner. Jerry spent 10 years inPrescott, AZ as ownerof Rocky's Tavern and loved living in the highcountry. He will always beremembered for his high level ofintelligence, his humor, his honesty andintegrity, and his work ethic.The quintessential cowboy, Jerry lived bythe code of the west - workhard, don't complain, and make the best ofevery situation. He lovedplaying the guitar and fly fishing for trout.He was a great example tohis children and you were proud to be calledhis friend. He will betruly missed. Jerry is pre-deceased by his fatherEdmond R. Brenizerand survived by his mother Ruth Brenizer, his twinsisters DonitaGiaquinto and Anita (Don) Fazio, his children, JasonBrenizer, MichellePauley-Wollam, and Mike Mossman. Jerry also leavesbehind numerousaunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of his lifewill be held1/8/05 at Lundberg Mortuary 5310 W. Northern Ave., Glendale,AZVisitation at 2pm and services at 3pm.
