Elsie A. Underwood, 94
Elsie A. Underwood, 94, of North Central Avenue in Campbellsville,diedat 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Henry Underwood and Susan Arnold Underwood, shewasborn on Sept, 1, 1910 in Taylor County and was a member of PoplarGroveUnited Methodist Church.
She was married to Bennie Underwood on Dec. 23, 1929. He preceded herindeath on July 12, 1984.
Survivors include two daughters and two sons and their spouses, EssieandJunior Vance of Buffalo, Commie and Bobby Caulk ofCampbellsville,Heistand and Carolyn Underwood of Louisville, andGarland and PollyUnderwood of Elizabethtown; 15 grandchildren; 18great-grandchildren; 13great-great-grandchildren; one sister, LavedaMardis of Campbellsville;and one sister-in-law, Jessie Underwood ofCampbellsville.
She was also preceded in death by two sons and two daughters,JackUnderwood, Joe Underwood, Mona Brewer and Lovie Brewer;onegreat-grandchild, Aaron Brewer; and three sisters and two brothers,EthelLewis, Sadie Brockman, Ada Underwood, Bradley Underwood andMonroeUnderwood.
Funeral was Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Poplar Grove United MethodistChurch,with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Eudell Stilts, theRev.Danny Nelson and the Rev. Lawrence Brockman Jr. officiated.
Pallbearers were Billy Brewer, David Clifford, Tony Dupps, ChadKeltner,Junior Vance, Cory Wood, Johnny Underwood and Scott Underwood.
Honorary pallbearers were Harold Atwell, Charlie Brewer, ShaunBrewer,Robby Caulk, Mark Clifford, Brian Keltner, Adam Wood, BobbyWood andRoger Perkins.
Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville was in chargeofarrangements.
