  FORREST CITY, ARKANSAS Times-Herald -Thursday, November 4, 2004 Virgil Ottie "Ott" Hooker Mr. Virgil Ottie "Ott" Hooker, age 83, of Palestine, died Wednesday,Nov.3, 2004, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Mr. Hooker was born Feb. 10, 1921, in Altus, the son of WilliamHenryHooker and Rosie Blanscett Hooker. Mr. Hooker had made his homeinPalestine for most of his life and was a retired farmer. He was alsoamember of the Goodwin Baptist Church where he served as a deaconandserved on the Farm Bureau Board. Mr. Hooker married Dora Brown in 1947 and she survives him along withoneson, David "Sweetie" Hooker of Palestine and two grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Hooker will be held on Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, from 6to8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be heldonSaturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at Stevens Funeral Home at 10 a.m. withDonMcCormick, J.E. Hughes and Danny Veteto officiating. Burial willfollowin Goodwin Cemetery.
