  FORREST CITY, ARKANSAS Times-Herald - Tuesday, January 3, 2006 Dora E. Hooker Mrs. Dora E. Hooker, age 87, of Palestine, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2006,atBaptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. Mrs. Hooker was born March 6, 1918, in Goodwin, the daughter of BenBrownand Dora Lite Brown. She lived in Palestine all of her life, wasahousewife and a member of the Goodwin Baptist Church. Mrs. Hooker wasaWMU leader at her church and had been a member of the Farm BureauWomen'sCommittee. Mrs. Hooker married Virgil Ott Hooker in 1947 and he preceded herindeath in 2004. She is survived by a son David "Sweetie" HookerofPalestine; a brother, Leonard Brown of Elgin, Ill.; andtwograndchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Hooker will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006,from6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be heldonThursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Stevens Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Burialwillfollow in Goodwin Cemetery.
