She died at 8:45 a.m., Monday, Nov. 14, 1988, in Hodgenvilleafter anillness. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley BaptistChurch in GreenCounty. She united in marriage to Bennie Underwood inAugust 1945.Besides her husband, she is survived by two step-sons,Melvin RayUnderwood and Syndall Underwood, both of Campbellsville;threestep-grandsons and one step-granddaughter, Micky Underwood,MarkUnderwood, Doug Underwood, and Lisa Kirtley, all ofCampbellsville; onestep-great-granddaughter, Ashley Kirtley,Campbellsville; two brothers,Leonard (Bill) Risen and Carl Risen, bothof Campbellsville; one niece,Jayne Morgenthal, Cincinnati, Ohio;several other relatives and manyfriends. The funeral was at 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Parrott &Ramsey Funeral Home inCampbellsville by the Rev. Charles Owens and theRev.! Carlos Anderson. Burial was at Pleasant Valley BaptistChurchCemetery. Pallbearers were Bradley Risen, Clay Risen, MelvinPike,Kenneth Pierce, Kenneth P.
