- Mary C. Fawcett Bray, 90 of McGee, passed away Sunday August 14, 2005 at her residence. She was born October 4, 1914 in Taylor County, a daughter of the late John Calvin Fawcett and Ethel Ray Grimes Fawcett, In addition to her parents she was preceded death by her husbands, Charles N. Custer, Paul Bartels and Frosty Bray, one son James H. Custer l and two brothers, John Ray Fawcett and Edward Fawcett,
Mrs. Bray is survived by two sons; John Custer and wife Peggy A. of Valley Falls and John Daniel Custer and wife Marilyn of California. and one daughter; Mary Lou Felts of Cleveland, Tenn. Fifteen Grandchildren, several Great-Grandchildren, and GreatGreat Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. One Sister Lalah May Ingram of Tucson, Az.
She was a Dental Assistant to Dr. John Fawcett.
She attended Pruntytown United Methodist Church and Harmony Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday August 19, 2005 at the Bartlett Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dwight Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodsdale Memorial Park.
