- According to Barlow, this whole family and a Mary Winche age 15 were on the passenger list of the "Francis" that sailed from Ipswich,Suffolk,England to Boston April/June 1634. First settled in Roxbury, Massachusetts,then probably moved to Springfield, Massachusetts the following yearwithWilliam Pynchon, founder of the town. Rowland Stebbins sat in the meetinghouseat Springfield, Massachusetts Rowland Stebbins moved to Northamptonsometime after the death of Sarah in 1649.
